Thrifts Cottage is a 17th-century cottage featuring one storey and attics. The building is framed in timber and has a rendered exterior with a thatched roof that is ridged and gabled. At the north of the ridge, there is a red brick chimney stack, and the cottage has three eyebrowed dormers. The ground storey includes a modern front door and three pairs of double casement windows.
