Description

The Store, adjoining Tenement and Avenue House, is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, which has been extensively altered in the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered, with a late 18th-century red brick facade and painted brick parts on the sides. The roof is hipped and covered with red plain tiles. The building has a three-window range with double-hung, vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars set within gauged arches. At the east end, there is a late 19th-century shop front. The door surrounds are simply moulded, and there is a large early 17th-century chimney stack that has been rebuilt at the top.
