Description

Herds Pasture is a 16th-century house featuring a hall and a jettied crosswing. The building is timber framed with rendered elevations. The hall consists of two bays, with a solar wing located at the eastern end. The roofs are ridged and gabled, with a hip end at the rear of the crosswing, and are covered with peg tiles. A red brick chimney stack with four diagonal shafts is attached to the structure. The joists have diminished-haunches. There are also additions to the west of the original building.
