Description

Bromans Farmhouse is a 16th-century or earlier house, originally of an H-plan, aligned north to south. It is timber framed and plastered. The north wing was rebuilt and enlarged using plastered brick, featuring inset chimneys at both ends. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with pegtiled. An early central chimney, projecting and with decorative shoulders, is located in the hall range and is now rendered. All windows are modern. The north wing has fielded reveals to its doorway, and gables with eaves corbels and truncated apexes.
