Description

New Hall is an early 19th-century house located on Great and Little Copt Hall Lane in Wigborough. It is constructed of red brick with a grey slate hipped roof. The front facade has three bays and features double-hung, vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, and modern casements below. A distinctive early 19th-century door is topped by a rectangular fanlight, a flat canopy, moulded architraves, and console brackets. Stucco gauged arches decorate the first-floor windows. The house has a double-range plan, with a rear range likely dating back to the 14th century. This older range is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tile roof.
