Description

This is a terrace of brick houses built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The northern and southern ends of the terrace project slightly forward. The houses are two storeys high and have seven dormers in the roof, which is tiled. There are fourteen window bays, each containing double-hung sash windows, some with glazing bars. Number 4 Abbeygate Street has a late 19th-century canted bay window on the ground floor. Numbers 4 to 16 (even) form a group with number 1 Stanwell Street.
