Description
Idols Cottage is a house dating from around 1600. It is two storeys and has an L-shaped plan, framed in timber with rendered walls and a ridged and gabled peg-tiled roof. The north to south range consists of three bays, featuring a red brick chimney stack at each gable end. There are three gabled dormers facing west, each with small pane casements. A modern porch is located on the ground storey, along with one small pane casement window on the left and right sides. There are extensions to the north, including one gabled dormer on the north side of the northeast wing.
