Description

Oxford House is a 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north side of The Street in Little Waltham. The building has two storeys and features a four-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes an early 19th century shop fascia, with 20th century casements and a 20th century door beneath it. There is also a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight and architrave. To the west, there is a single-storey stable wing. The roof is tiled and has five gables at the rear. Oxford House is part of a group that includes Nos 29 to 39 (odd), 43, and Nos 26 to 42 (even).
