Description

Foxtons is a 18th century and 19th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north side of The Street in Little Waltham. It features a gabled cross wing at the west end and stands two storeys high with attics. The building has a window arrangement of one window on the left and three windows on the right, all of which are double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars. The ground storey windows are adorned with cornices, and the window in the cross wing is a three-light design. The doorway is framed by a moulded architrave and also has a cornice. The roof is tiled and double-pitched, featuring a coved plaster eaves cornice with decorative pargetted ornamentation, along with a gabled dormer window on the front.
