Florence Cottage and Hillcrest is a timber-framed and plastered cottage, now divided into two dwellings, possibly originating from the 16th century and altered in the 19th century. The building has a thatched roof and stands two storeys high. It features a three-window range with casements that have "Gothic" arched heads. Hillcrest includes a lattice porch, while Florence Cottage has a thatched lean-to extension.
