Pipers Cottage and No 2 (The Cottage) is a timber-framed and plastered house that has been altered in the 18th century and later, and is likely from the 16th or 17th century. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with 20th-century casements that include glazing bars. The roof is tiled and hipped at both the north and south ends, with small gablets. Inside, the cottage has exposed beams.
