Description

Cottage East of the Post Office is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed building that has undergone significant alterations. The south front is finished in red brick, while the rear is covered with weatherboarding. A large original chimney stack with diagonal shafts and an embattled base is located on the east side. The west side features later additions, and the roof is tiled. This cottage is part of a group that includes The Forge, the Post Office, the Church of St Andrew, Sandon Place, and the Crown Inn at Sandon Green.
