Description
This listing describes two houses located approximately 80 yards northeast of Lamb Cottage and Maltings in Great Waltham. The houses are timber-framed and plastered, likely dating from the 15th to 16th centuries, although they have undergone significant alterations. The southwest end features a gabled cross wing with a ground storey that is faced in brick and painted. The cross wing has two storeys, while the main block is one storey with attics. The windows are casement style, and the roof is tiled, featuring two gabled dormers on the main block.
