Description
Springfield Mill House is an 18th-century house situated on Victoria Road. It was originally constructed from blue glazed brick laid in a header bond pattern, with red brick quoins, and features a parapet punctuated by five sunken panels. The house has five window bays over two storeys. Horizontal string courses are visible at the first floor level and along the eaves, projecting slightly. The windows are sash-hung with hornless six-pane glazing, and retain reveal shutters. The central front door consists of eight fielded panels, a wide door surround with fluted pilasters, and a flat hood supported by double ogee brackets.
