Description

Church View St John's Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th century, although it has been significantly altered and partly rebuilt. The building features a gabled cross wing that juts out at the first storey. The main block is one storey with attics, while the cross wing is two storeys high. It has casement windows and a tiled roof, which includes one gabled dormer on the main block. This cottage is part of a group that includes the Church of St John the Evangelist, Thatched Cottage, and No 2 adjoining.
