Description
The Old Rectory is a mid to late 19th-century red brick house featuring yellow brick quoins and window dressings. It has two storeys and attics, with two stopped gables at the east and west ends and a small gable in between. The east front displays a three-window range, while the south front has a five-window range, all with double-hung sashes that include single vertical glazing bars. The ground storey windows on the south front extend to floor level and have glazing bars, square label moulds, and ornamented stops. A moulded stone string course separates the storeys. The ground storey of the east front is stuccoed and features a "Gothic" pointed arched doorway. There are two external chimney stacks, each with two octagonal shafts, and the roofs are tiled, including one gabled dormer on the north front.
