Thatch End is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered cottage located on Great and Little Rectory Lane, Leighs. The cottage is one storey high, with attics and has casement windows. The roof is thatched and features three dormer windows. The building was modernized and restored in the 20th century. Thatch End forms a group with Hillside View and Rose Cottage.
