Description

The Old Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating from the 16th century. It features a cross wing at the south end that jetties out on the first storey. The exterior is now faced in pebbledash, and the main block is one storey with attics, while the cross wing is two storeys high. The cottage has casement windows with lattice leaded lights. The roof is tiled and has a half hip at the north end, along with three gabled dormers.
