Description
Moor Hall is a timber-framed and plastered house originating from the 15th century, with alterations made in the 16th century and restoration following a fire in 1959. The building is two storeys high with attics and features notable 16th-century elements. The windows are casements with leaded lights. The north front showcases two 16th-century gabled bays that extend to the full height of the house, adorned with carved barge boards, pendants, and carved bressumers on the bay windows. There is a two-storey porch with an upper storey that jetties out, featuring a gable similar to the bays. The roof is tiled and includes a prominent 16th-century central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts. Inside, original features are preserved, and there are remains of a moat surrounding the property.
