Description

McMillan's Cottages, consisting of Nos. 1 and 2, are 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered cottages located on the north side of Church Road in Boreham. They are one storey with attics, and No. 2 has a higher eaves level than No. 1. Each cottage features casement windows with glazing bars and has two windows. No. 2 also includes a gabled porch. The roofs are tiled and each tenement has two gabled dormers.

These cottages are part of a group that includes the Church of St Andrew, Boreham Lodge, the Old Vicarage, Church Cottages (Nos. 1 to 4), Boreham Manor North, Boreham Manor South, Babylon, Ebenezer Cottage, Coppers, and the Old Rectory. Church Cottages Nos. 1 to 4 are recognized as buildings of local interest.
