Description

Pratt's Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house originating from the early 16th century, though it has undergone significant alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. The house was refronted in the 18th century and features 19th-century modifications. The west front is plastered and includes a parapet and a wood dentilled cornice. It is two storeys high and has a five-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey features two 19th-century canted bays and a central covered porch that has a cornice and pediment. The roof is tiled and there is a 17th-century chimney stack with three diagonally set shafts.
