Description
The Old Rectory is a building originally constructed in the 17th century, designed in an L-shaped plan, but it has undergone significant alterations in the 18th century and later. The exterior is now faced in grey gault brick, featuring a parapet and a bracketed cornice. The north front is colourwashed. The building is two storeys high, with a five-window range on the west front and a three-window range on the north front, all featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals. A raised brick band runs between the two storeys. The north front includes a central 20th-century doorway. The roof is tiled. The Old Rectory is part of a group that includes the Church of St Martin, Little Waltham Hall, and Hulmans.
