Description
Numbers 66, 68 (Romary's), and 70 (Lindens) are a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that has been altered in the 18th century and later. The building features a cross wing at the south end and a wing extending to the west at the north end. It has two storeys. The windows include a mix of easements and double-hung sashes with glazing bars. At the south end, there is a large external chimney stack with roughly built crow steps, rebuilt grouped stacks, and a modern supporting wall. The roof is tiled, and the west front and the south side of the west wing have a coved plaster eaves cornice.
