Description

Allen's Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating from the 16th century. It features a later one-storey addition with an attic on the west end. The main block is two storeys high and has a two-window range with 19th-century double-hung sashes that include single vertical glazing bars. There is a central doorway, and the roof is tiled, featuring one gabled dormer and a catslide to the addition. Inside, there are some exposed framing, ceiling joists, and beams.
