Description

The Bury is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th century, with a modern block added to the east end. The original section is one storey with attics and features casement windows with lattice leaded lights. It has a 17th-century boarded door with fillets, which was likely taken from another building. The thatched roof includes one gabled dormer. Inside, there are exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists, as well as a large original open fireplace with a hearth beam. The modern block is two storeys high and has a tiled roof.
