Description

Thatch End is a building that originally dates back to the 15th century. It was constructed as a timber-framed and plastered hall house, featuring a solar wing at the eastern end. In the 17th century, a fireplace and floor were added. The building has been renovated and includes casement windows. The roof is thatched and has one dormer on the front. At a later time, Thatch End was connected to Dolls Cottage by an infill bay between the main sections.
