Description

Wyndies is an early 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that has undergone later alterations and additions. It stands two storeys high, with the timber framing exposed on the south front and at the east end of the north front. The upper storey jetties out at the east ends of both the north and south fronts, supported by exposed joists. The building features some old leaded casements, and on the south front, the jettied upper storey includes an oriel bay window with leaded casements. The roof is tiled, with a small gable at the east end and a tall central chimney stack that has attached shafts, along with a tall external stack on the east side.
