Description

Barn Farmhouse is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house with a moss wing on the east end. The first storey is now covered with weatherboarding. The house was renovated in the 20th century and has two storeys. The windows are 20th century casements, and the roof is tiled. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams and joists, and the roof features a braced tie beam with a crown post. Barn Farmhouse, along with the outbuilding at Barn Farm and the barn at Barn Farm, forms a group.
