Description

Oak Cottage and Park View is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house, with a cross wing added at the east end in the 17th century. The building has one storey and attics, featuring 20th-century casement windows. The front displays two gabled porches that project outward. The roofs are tiled, including one modern sloping roofed dormer, and there is a central chimney stack serving both the main block and the cross wing. Inside, the house showcases exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams, and joists.
