Description

East Hanningfield Hall is a timber-framed and plastered house that likely dates back to the 16th century, with alterations and additions made in the 18th century and later. The northern block of the building is from the early 19th century. It stands two storeys high and features a four-window range arranged in a 3:1 pattern, with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars. The entrance includes a six-panel door set within a doorcase that is adorned with pilasters and a cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, while a tiled wing extends from the rear of the building.
