Description

Bywater House is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th to 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It has two storeys and features a three-window range on the upper floor and a four-window range on the ground floor. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The entrance includes a six-panel door that is flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with a cornice hood supported by shaped brackets. The roof is tiled and has two chimney stacks, each with three diagonally set shafts.
