Description

Oak House, formerly known as the Royal Oak Inn, is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building that has been altered in the 18th century and later. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range with 20th-century casements. The roof is tiled, also from the 20th century, and it retains an original chimney stack with two joined octagonal shafts. Inside, the house has exposed ceiling beams.
