Description
Slough House is a timber-framed and plastered house that dates from the 15th to 16th century. It features cross wings at both the north and south ends. The building underwent significant alterations in the 17th century, during which the central block and the north wing were largely rebuilt. The front of the house has a window arrangement of three over one, with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. Both the north and south ends showcase a striking external chimney stack, which has two octagonal shafts topped with spurred caps. The roof is tiled, contributing to the building's picturesque appearance.
