Description
The cartlodge and stable ranges, located adjacent to the southwest of the barn, are situated 40 metres southwest of Rayne Hall. These structures date from the 17th and 18th centuries and are timber framed with weatherboarding. The roof is clad in corrugated iron and is hipped to the east. The buildings are arranged in an L-plan and are single storey. The cartlodge consists of six bays running parallel to the road, with a two-bay stable to the northeast. The roof features side purlins, and the walls have through bracing. These ranges are part of the farm complex and hold significant group value with Rayne Hall and the green.
