Description

This is a late 16th and early 17th century timber-framed building, located at 9-15 Hedingham Road. It is plastered with a red plain tile roof, and features decorated bargeboards on the south gable. The building is two storeys high with attics, and has a five-window front. Most windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, though some are modern casements. There is a small shopfront and doorways with flat heads. A panelled range extends to the rear. Originally, the main block featured a jetty at the north end.
