Description

No. 2 High Street is an early 17th-century building that features a timber-framed and plastered structure topped with a red plain tile roof. The façade includes a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. A modern shop front has been added. Inside, original beams and joists are visible on the ground floor, showcasing cyma-planed arrises with leaf stops. The storey posts have long splayed jowls, and original oak boards are present on the first floor, along with a side purlin roof above.
