Description

12 Bridge Street is an 18th-century house that is partly timber-framed and plastered, with sections of red brick. The building has two storeys, which are at different levels on the north-east and south-west ends. It features a two-window range with double-hung sash windows, some of which have glazing bars and are set in plain reveals, while others are in cased frames. The central window on the first storey is blocked. There is a central six-panel door that is framed by a wooden doorcase with panelled reveals, reeded pilasters, and an open pediment supported by console brackets. The roof is covered with 20th-century interlocking tiles. Nos 10 and 12 form a group with Nos 23 to 27 (odd).
