Description

The stable block and outbuildings at Boleyns, located on the east side of Church Lane in Bocking, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The stable block is constructed of grey gault brick and is a single storey. It features two semi-circular windows with vertical glazing bars on either side of a central doorway. The roof is slate with brick dentilled eaves. At right angles to the stable block, there is a range of early 19th-century outbuildings that form an enclosed courtyard with the main house to the south. These outbuildings were originally used as a cloth warehouse. The stable block and outbuildings are included for their group value.
