Description

The Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house designed in an L-shaped plan with wings extending to the north and west. The east front of the north wing features 18th century windows, consisting of a two-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. The west wing mainly has 20th century casement windows. At the west end, there is a two-storey bay window beneath a gable, while the east end showcases two Gothic pointed arched French windows. The roof is tiled and includes a coved eaves cornice on the east front.
