Description
Hole Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house featuring a double range design. It has a timber frame and is rough rendered at the rear, with a facing of gault brick. The roofs are covered with grey slate and the gables have scalloped bargeboards. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range of early 19th-century small paned vertical sliding sashes, which are topped with gauged brick arches. The central entrance has a three-panelled door with a glazed margin light, and there is a flat porch supported by two Ionic columns with moulded bases and two pilasters. The property also has two gault brick chimney stacks. Inside, there are notable early 19th-century features, including a stick baluster staircase.
