Description

The Cherry Tree Inn is a public house that dates from the late 17th century, with a 20th-century brick and pantile addition on the left. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof. It has one storey and attics, featuring three gabled dormers. The ground floor has a window arrangement of three, one, and two, with the original windows being diamond leaded oriel windows supported by brackets, and the dormers featuring 19th-century half-paned casements. There is a 20th-century enclosed porch with a panelled door and two sidelights, and a red brick chimney on the left. The 20th-century addition includes recessed, panelled double doors.
