Description

Bridge House is a cottage that dates from the 17th or 18th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed from timber framing and has a plastered exterior. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and features an off-centre gabled dormer and an outshot at the rear. A central red brick chimney stack has square attached shafts. The building is two storeys high, with one window on the first floor and three small paned casements on the ground floor. There is an off-centre slanting red tiled porch supported by timber posts, leading to a vertically boarded door. There has been some confusion in the past regarding the original name and listing of this house and the nearby property known as "Sparrows."
