Description
This building is a barn and cartlodge located approximately 30 metres north-west of Pound Farm House, adjacent to the road. It dates from the 18th to 19th century. The barn is timber framed, while the cartlodge is constructed from red brick. The barn has a grey slate roof, and the cartlodge features a red pantiled roof. The structure is in an L-shape, with the cartlodge consisting of five bays and seven pilaster strips on the road-facing side. The barn includes two loft doors and double vertically boarded doors. An iron weathervane is situated at the apex of the barn.
