Description

This is an outbuilding dating from the 17th century, located at the rear of Claredown Farmhouse. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a loft, featuring a 17th century red brick chimney stack that includes the original fireplace and mantel beam. Inside, there are heavy chamfered bridging joists. The gable end has a casement window, and there is a vertical boarded door on the return wall.
