Description
This barn, located about 50 meters east of Bovingdon Hall, dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with a red brick plinth. The walls are rendered and weatherboarded, and the roof is half-hipped, made of corrugated asbestos and iron. The barn consists of three bays and includes a midstrey to the north, with full-height opposing double doors. To the left of the south doors, there is a two-light, six-pane casement window. An open lean-to outshut is present in the northwest angle. The frame is complete, showcasing jowled posts and a clasped purlin roof supported by arched braces. Straight tension braces cut through the studs.
