Description

Resting Seat House is a timber-framed house, likely built in the 17th to 18th century, but it has been largely altered in the 20th century. The east front features a brick ground floor and is now covered with pebble dash on the first floor. The house has two storeys and a four-window range with 20th-century casements. At the south end, there is a timber-framed and plastered wing that extends to the west, which includes some double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and dates from the 20th century.
