Description

The Willows is an early 19th-century house located on Foundry Lane in Earls Colne. It is primarily constructed of gault brick in Flemish bond, with sections of flint rubble and plastered timber framing. The building has a double-range plan facing west and features four red brick stacks. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range of late 19th-century sash windows, each topped with stuccoed brick arches. The house also includes a late 19th-century latticed porch, which has a sunburst design above the entrance and a hipped lead roof. The roofs are low-pitched, and the interior retains original detailing.
