Description

April Cottage is an 18th-century cottage extended in the 20th century. It is built of clay lump, with roughcast rendering and a thatched roof. The cottage is aligned north-south with an external chimney stack on the north end, facing west. A single-storey lean-to extension was added to the south in the 19th or 20th century. A single-storey, flat-roofed extension is located to the northeast. A plain boarded door, with a 20th-century canopy, is present, along with two casement windows and one more within a gabled dormer. The cottage is included on the list for its group value.
