Description

This is a 19th-century pump located approximately 1.50 metres west of Fairstead Lodge. It is made of cast iron mounted on a wooden post. The pump features a reeded handle and a large knob with a foliate pattern where the handle meets the post. The mechanism is complete and it is connected to a galvanised pipe that supplies a storage tank. This pump is included for its group value.
