Description

This is a late 19th-century grey gault brick building, originally constructed as a County Court and now serving as a library. The front is stuccoed, featuring a parapet and cornice supported by paired console brackets. The building is one storey high, with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with margin glazing bars, set within stucco architraves topped with cornices on console brackets. A moulded stucco stringcourse runs at window sill level, also supported by console brackets. The ends of the building project slightly; a doorway is located on the east end and a window on the west end, both set in rusticated semi-circular arches with alternating, vermiculated voussoirs.
